Table of contents from the 2nd Conference, the first under the new structure and the first to be held in Venezuela (one of the founding sponsors of the Centre). This Conference was amoung the first duties of the New Centre. The conference was held February 7 - 17, 1982 in Caracas Venezuela.

This marked the largest participation for our conferences with 790 people representing 34 countries in attendance despite the recession of the early 90's. It was held August 4 - 9, 1991 in Caracas Venezuela.

Table of contents from the 6th Conference. This was the second conference to be held in the United States. It marked a significant return in the marketplace for the Heavy Oil industry after the recession of the early 90's. It was held February 12 - 17, 1995 in Houston, Texas, USA.

Also, this conference marked the last to be held under the UNITAR umbrella as the Centre dicided to return to it's original, independant state. It was held October 27-30, 1998 in Beijing, China.
